We recently discovered an automatic drawing by John Balance (which is not in "Bright Lights and Cats with No Mouths"), the drawing is dated 1998 and the blind stamped hand made print reproduces Balance’s signature as seen on the original.
It will look stunning next to the silkscreen print of "Faces" we did earlier this year, and which sold out in a matter of weeks.
Clearly influenced by Austin Osman Spare’s automatic drawings, we have the remaining copies of a print run of 93 copies.
The print was originally available at the "Psychoanalysis, Art and the Occult" conference in London, earlier this month and proved very popular indeed.
